Frequently Asked Questions
(FAQs)

I've Joined MyABA, Now What?

Why did you join MyABA?  Are you a parent wanting to leave a review?  Or are you a Provider wanting to claim or create a listing?  Either way, once you log in, you can select your option.

If you’re a Provider, you can claim/create a listing on MyABA.  Having an account on MyABA is great!  But remember to claim/create your listing(s) so people can find you through our directory.  Currently, this option is FREE.

If you’re a parent, click “Leave a Review”.

Both options will eventually lead you through a quick step-by-step process.

How do I claim a listing?

The easiest method to claim your listing is to search for at https://myaba.today/provider-name-and-location/. If you start there, we’ll walk you through the steps to claim your listing and to set up your account.

Once you find the listing that you’d like to claim, click the ‘flag’ icon. You must be registered with MyABA in order to claim your listing.

If there is no option to claim the listing:

  • It may have already been claimed by someone else
  • The listing may be recently submitted and is pending approval

If you believe your listing may have been claimed by someone else, please use the form on our contact us page and we will work with you to address your concern.

Why doesn't the listing have an address?

We aim to ensure that our database includes qualified therapists.  This may mean that a therapist may be at a specific Practice in a particular city.

We encourage providers to find and claim their own personal listing in the city they practice in and update their listing with more accurate information.

My zip code doesn't work?

If your Zip Code doesn’t achieve results, try using only using City and State/Province. Ex:  Orlando, Florida

Also, increase the search radius to at least 50 miles.

How do I find an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician)?

Select the checkbox for RBT in the advanced search fields. Click the gear icon on the far right to open the advanced search options.

What's the Difference Between Listing Categories and Listing Tags?

Listing Categories are:

  • Searchable in the directory.
  • Can be updated by editing the specific listing
  • Clarify Certifications of the individual and/or Practice, as well as if appointments are available or available for work.
  • Please use our contact form if you believe a new category needs to be added to our database for selection.

Listing Tags:

  • Specify listings of People and/or Practices that have been verified via a 3rd party. For example, the Listing Tag shown in the image above is showing that the listing in question has been verified as using the Tele-ABA App.
  • Are managed by a mutual partnership between the 3rd party in question, and the MyABA staff.
  • Please use our contact form if you’d like to work with us in enhancing our directory.
